the Pendejo brothers

Gabe and I come from different backgrounds, he started life in the cacophony of Mexico City and came to the United States in his later teen years. I grew up in a sleepy eastern Oregon red neck town of loggers and ranchers. Working together on construction sites, we found that although our backgrounds were different, we were very alike in our interests and perceptions. We also shared a similar value system.  

Working long hours painting, framing walls, and hanging drywall, we fight the repetitive monotony of our work, batting silly ideas and phrases back and forth that combine our two languages and cultures. Being abstract creative types, with a scorn for fake pleasantries, we discuss subjects on the edge of acceptable humor to the societies in which we were raised. We both notice the need for humor and common ground in the world. Our purpose with Pendejo Brothers is to bring people together with humor and discovery of common ground.
